Dear
Readers,
Fans of musical theater will be delighted to see
three new reviews this week on shows ranging from a production
of Cole Porter's 1934 classic Anything Goes to an
outrageous adaptation of the beloved '80s film The Karate
Kid. For those of you interested in taking in some timely
peices of theater, this week's reviews feature two highly
praised shows that deal with the consequences of war. Take
a break from this hectic holiday season and enjoy a fabulous
night out in New York City.

Other
new reviews include:
Anything
Goes, the Height's Players 70th Anniversary
production of Cole Porter's musical classic. This play has
been a favorite of theatre companies, both amateur and professional
alike.
It's
Karate, Kid! The Musical, a new musical
conceived and written by Travis Kramer and Tom Osteran that
is an outrageous bastardization of the beloved 80s cinema
classic.
Line,
the longest running play in off-off Broadway history now
in its 29th year. Israel Horovitz's play centers on five
people as they wait in a line with no apparent purpose.
Rattlesnake,
Fred Pezzulli's new play about the unexpected repercussions
when the U.S. Army sets up a training camp in rural West
Virginia during the Second World War.
Happy
Theatergoing,
