Other
new reviews include:
The
Apple Cart, A Political Extravaganza, a rare
revival of George Bernard Shaw's 1929 comedy. Shaw's brilliant
script transforms the workings of politics into a wonderful,
whimsical treat for the senses. Closes
March 13, 2005.
The Cherry Orchard,
Antoine Chekov's best-loved and most luminous work that
explores the bittersweet passing of a way of life and the
devastating effect of the hand of history through the lives
of a collection of ordinary folk living in the countryside
at the turn of the 19th century. Closes
February 27, 2005.
Italian
American Reconciliation, a
heartwarming story of love lost and found in the spirit
of Shanley's Oscar-winning movie Moonstruck. Closed.
Off the Top of Our Heads,
a fast-paced show full of the funniest improv games performed
by a lightning quick cast. And they always get the
audience involved! Open-run.
In honor of the 20th Anniversary
of John Hughes' classic '80's film The Breakfast Club,
the irreverent on-stage parody of the movie, You
See Us as You Want to See Us: Reflections From The Breakfast
Club, now running at the Kraine Theater has been
extended for a second time through March 26th.
Happy
Theatergoing!
