Dana Lang - Staff Writer
Dana Lang holds a BA in Journalism from Temple University and an MFA in Playwriting from Brooklyn College, where she was honored to have studied under Mac Wellman. Staged readings and productions of her plays have appeared in several downtown theaters, including the Present Company, Bouwerie Lane, the Kraine, and the Flea Theatre. Her one-woman show Is This Burning? ran in the Eve’s Apple Festival of New Plays, and was also published in the Brooklyn Review. She directed her short play The Secret of Galatea, in a new works showcase of BRIC Studio's American Theater Nexus. A past member of the Screaming Venus theater company, Dana has also contributed writing, editing, marketing, and/or production work to performing arts organizations such as the Public Theater/Joe’s Pub, the Relâche Ensemble, and Meet the Composer. She lives and works as a freelance writer and editor in New York City.
