Dwayne
Lawler, an Australian actor, writer, and director, traveled
nearly 7,000 miles from his current home in Japan to bring
his original solo performance of Tokyo Vampire
to the Midtown International Theater Festival. The members
of the New York City-based Rabbit Hole Ensemble only had
to hop a subway to present festival audiences with
The Siblings.
What do they have in common? they each give contemporary
life to classic characters—the archetypical gothic vampire
and the fabled Hansel and Gretel.
